Qualified as a Dental Doctor from FMDUP, Porto in 2006, Dr. Abel has acquired global cosmetic expertise through intensive postgraduate courses in advanced aesthetic dentistry at two of the world’s best institutions: the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA, USA), where he was awarded the prestigious ‘Postgraduate Diploma in Esthetic Dentistry, and the King’s College London (KCL, UK), where he completed his MSc and obtained the title of Master in Aesthetic Dentistry with Distinction, the highest grade.

Dr. Abel’s extraordinary talent and vision for artistic dentistry are no coincidence. During his pursuit of a dental degree, he dedicated four years to the study of arts, completing a one-year drawing course at FAUP, the prestigious Faculty of Architecture, Porto University, followed by three years studying Oil Painting at Árvore, a prestigious arts school in Porto. Smile design became the natural extension of his passion for art and design.
